We've been bringing you news about Fisker's upcoming plug-in hybrid car since all we had to go on was the teaser site. We expected the car to be attractive, and the first photo does not disappoint. We still face a distinct lack of details on the vehicle's specifications, but we can see in the picture the outline of a slinky sedan shell with overtly sporty dimensions. Notice the long hood and short deck design as well as the flaring wheel arches. Looks great to our eyes.....

Here in the Unites States, riding motorcycles is more likely to be for pleasure than for practical purposes, but that is not the case in all areas of the world. A group from Australia is proving the worth of their biodiesel-powered motorcycle by showcasing in alongside other alternative-fueled vehicles taking part in special classes during the running of the World Solar Challenge. Just earlier today we brought you a story about Honda's new dedicated hybrid model, which would be a more mainstream attempt than the Insight was. Will that model be Honda's CR-Z concept car which was just revealed in Tokyo? Ostensibly a replacement for the now defunct, but much loved, CRX model, the CR-Z adds a hybrid drivetrain to that car's proven formula. Back on the 19th of October, we showed you some leaked pictures of the Audi A1 metroproject concept that would be shown in Tokyo. Well, here it is in all it's un-rendered glory. The all-wheel-drive configuration was confirmed with Audi's excellent TSI turbocharged and supercharged engine powering the front wheels along with an electric motor at the rear. A lithium ion battery pack powers the 41 horsepower motor out back.
