You didn't really think it was over, did you? The Sang Bleu was supposed to be the last special edition Bugatti Veyron, but word (and pictures) on the street suggest otherwise. Exhibit Z: the Grand Sport Blanc Noir edition, which follows the trio of Dubai specials into the Veyron special sunset.

The car you see here is not the latest special edition Bugatti Veyron, nor is it a Chinese knockoff of the extreme hypercar. It is in fact a 1999 Bugatti Veyron design concept built by then-SEAT head of design, Walter de'Silva. It seems Walter was asked to submit a design concept by then-head of Volkswagen Design, Hartmut Warkuss.

The question of whether or not Volkswagen will decide to put the Bugatti 16C Galibier into production is still unanswered. While we've heard rumors that the German automaker was leaning towards the affirmative, the green light has yet to be lit. Still, Bugatti is making sure all of its ducks are in a row.

"I don't get it," somebody said to me after I climbed out of the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport and stood on the sidewalk in front of the new Waldorf Astoria hotel in Orlando. "Don't get what?" I asked. "This car. Two million bucks. I don't get it." It's a common refrain — I don't get it — but really, let's understand something.

After a very long wait, the Bugatti Galibier 16C Concept has finally landed on US soil, making its public debut in Los Angeles. Let's just cut to the chase; this is the greatest sedan ever made. Sure it has its blemishes and it won't keep up with a CTS-V on the 'Ring, but as a whole it is simply incredible. I have since forgotten that other luxury cars even exist.

Assembled by hand at the Bugatti’s headquarters in Molsheim, Alsace, the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport will be delivered at a price of 1.4 million euros. Just 150 units will be made, with the first 50 of these going exclusively to registered Bugatti customers. So far 30 Grand Sports have been ordered.

My goal was simple: I wanted to take the world's fastest production car, the Bugatti Veyron, to its top speed of 253 mph. After a year and a half of planning with Bugatti's staff and some heartbreaking postponements, I finally was to get my chance. I would be the fourth - and final - journalist to try this stunt since 2005, when the Veyron was launched.

Available as the ultimate holiday rental is a Bugatti Veyron that can be rented for a hefty £16,000 a day (around $25,000 US). A leasing company based in Berkshire called Holders Vehicle Contracts is currently in control of, not only the world’s fastest, but also most expensive production vehicle.

The Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir is a special edition, created for the true automotive connoisseur. While its entirely black exterior may initially appear subdued, upon closer inspection it becomes clear that a select number of visual accents make this special Bugatti Veyron just as vividly coloured as its brighter counterparts.

What is the most expensive car in the world? The 1931 Bugatti Royale Kellner Coupe was sold for $8,700,000 in 1987. However, that car and many alike will not be included in this list because it is not available on the market today.

This find has inspired me to pull an old TR3A out of my barn and put it back into service. Albeit, in my wildest dreams it would never equal this treasure that turned up in a deserted garage in Europe by the children of the late Dr. Harold Carr.
