Since its introduction in 2005 as a 2006 model, the Mercury Milan has helped bring new energy and new customers to the Mercury showroom. For 2007, the Milan makes fold-down passenger seat standard, as well as anti-lock brakes, and the safety and security package stock equipped on all models. Aimed squarely at Generation X customers, the Milan midsize sedan is Mercury’s entry point vehicle. Standard 4-cylinder delivers 160 horsepower, and can be paired with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic. For even more power, the 3.0-liter V-6 produces 221 horses and is linked with an advanced 6-speed automatic transaxle. Traction control is now standard on V-6 models. At all four corners, Milan is equipped with large power disc brakes tuned for precise stops. In addition to carrying 5-people in comfort, Milan has easy-to-use and flexible 15.8-cubic-foot trunk that boasts a flat load floor and low liftover height.
