2008 Jeep TrailHawk

Built off the new body-on-frame 4-door Jeep Wrangler, the Trailhawk concept offers on-road open-air excitement. The side windows retract fully into the body, leaving no B-pillar above the belt, while the diagonal quarter windows are also fully retractable. Gray-tinted twin longitudinal glass panels over the 1st- and 2nd-row seats and the glass panel over the cargo compartment are removable, as is the swing-up backlight. With a 116-inch wheelbase, the Trailhawk’s dash-to-front-axle dimension is dramatically long, while the front and rear overhangs are tight and abbreviated. The long hood is fronted by a signature 7-slot Jeep grille, and with the headlights cropped and peering out from beneath a diagonal brow gives a hawkish expression, hence the ‘Trailhawk’ name. Framing the 22-inch, 5-spoke wheels are robust flares dramatically offset from the body. The specially crafted tires are accented by a red stripe, with the red color repeated on the exposed brake calipers. Inside the 4-passenger cabin is a cross-car instrument panel, full-length central floor console, and individual premium leather seating in Bark Black and Firewood Orange. The vehicle’s floor is a durable spray-finish with integrated non-slip heel pads.
