The Patriot is a classic-styled 5-door Jeep that delivers best-in-class capability, 30 miles per gallon fuel economy, safety and 5-passenger interior flexibility. Available in Patriot Sport and Patriot Limited models, consumers have a choice of three drive train configuration, including 4x2 front-wheel drive, a Freedom Drive I 4x4 system and a Freedom Drive II Off-road Package. Standard power train includes a 172 horsepower, 2.4-liter 4-cylinder World Engine coupled with a 5-speed manual transaxle. The Trail Rated Jeep Patriot sits 1 inch higher than non-Trail Rated models, and meets Jeep off-road capability requirements for traction, water fording, articulation, maneuverability and 9 inches of ground clearance. Cargo volume with front passenger and rear seatbacks folded down is 62.7 cubic feet of room.
