2007 Jeep Commander

Introduced in 2006, the Jeep Commander is the 1st Jeep vehicle with 3-rows of seats, and for 2007, room for 7-passengers. Complementing the Commander Sport (new name) and Commander Limited in ‘07 is the Jeep Commander Overland model. The Overland features platinum-chrome exterior accents and wood, leather and suede interior, making it the most luxurious Commander ever. Three engines are available on the Commander, including the 210 horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6, followed by a 235 horsepower, 4.7-liter, up to the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 with Multi-Displacement System and 330 horses. Each engine is connected to the 5-speed automatic transmission. Consumers have the choice of 3 versions of Jeep’s 4-wheel drive systems; Quadra-Trac I and II, plus Quadra-Drive II. Cargo area is 68.9-cubic feet with rear seating stowed away and maximum towing when properly equipped is 7,200-pounds.
