Debuting as a 2006 model in March 2005, the mid-size Ridgeline introduced a number of innovative and exclusive features to the half-ton truck segment including the 8.5 cubic foot In-Bed Trunk and a fully independent 4-wheel suspension. For 2007, the Ridgeline offers a new RTX trim level that comes with a trailer hitch and other popular features. New standard equipment on all ’07 Ridgelines (RT, RTX, RTS and RTL) includes a driver side illuminated vanity mirror and 4 new exterior colors. Engineering features include a 247 horsepower, 3.5-liter VTEC V-6 engine; 5-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission; and an advanced Variable Torque Management 4-wheel drive system. The 5-foot cargo bed includes 6 heavy-duty tie-down cleats, 4 bed lights; and a dual-action tailgate. All models also are equipped with oil coolers, heavy-duty brakes, dual radiator fans, and an exclusive fresh air intake system for improved towing. Ridgeline became the first-ever 4-door pickup to receive federal government's top 5-star safety rating.
