Acura’s popular TSX luxury sedan for 2008, has crisp lines, dynamic curves, signature 5-sided grille, and taillights that slope to meet a short, high trunk lid. Tasteful 17-inch, nine-spoke alloy wheels and Michelin all-season high-performance tires finish the TSX's sporty appearance. Generating 205 horsepower, the 2.4-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine is equipped with a drive-by-wire throttle control system, platinum-tipped spark plugs and a self-adjusting cam chain. The TSX comes standard with either a close-ratio 6-speed manual gearbox or a compact 5-speed Sequential SportShift automatic. Complementing the power train is an extremely rigid unit body structure and a race-bred, 4-wheel-independent double-wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension. New for ’07 is the Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Tasteful five-passenger cabin has deeply bolstered, perforated leather seating surfaces, and a leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel with audio, cruise control, voice recognition and HandFreeLink switches. To provide superb stopping power, the TSX is fitted with 4-wheel disc, 4-channel ABS brakes.
