While not exactly eye-catching, I don't find the HS250h homely, as was intimated in our preview of it in the 2010 New Cars issue. Instead, I find the HS250h to be fairly innocuous. It's perfectly nice to drive if you're not interested in scorching the pavement, its interior is well put together and has all the niceties you expect in a Lexus..

If the C-Zero looks familiar its because we've seen it before with Peugeot and its original Mitsubishi badges. The C-Zero is a re-badged i-MiEV that, along with the Peugeot IOn, will be offered in Europe later this year.

Way back in December 2006 when we got our first preview of the Volt concept, the powertrain was still called E-Flex rather than Voltec as it is today.

Last sold on these shores in 1982, the Lancia brand has pretty much slipped into obscurity for most Americans, but there was a time when Lancia was on top of the world. From the mid-'70s to the early-'90s, Lancia racked up an impressive tally of international race wins and championships with its doorstop-like Stratos and Montecarlo successor.

Just a few years ago, Ford had so many luxury brands in its then considerable suite of marques that there were upscale offerings for just about any taste in every region of the world. Aston Martin, Land Rover and Jaguar are now in the hands of other owners and Volvo is on the outs, so how will Ford deliver luxury goods to other regions of the world? How about Lincoln.

If you are a regular reader of Automobile Magazine, you know that we start each year by selecting our "of the Year" award winners. More than any other award, our Design of the Year causes confusion and provokes controversy. By choosing the Nissan Cube as our 2010 Design of the Year, this time around was no exception.
